#FriFotos – Pink – Lake Garda

Trish Burgess Posted on21/10/201107/04/2016 FriFotos, Italy, Lake garda 13 Comments
Another little dip into the Twitter travel world of #FriFotos where the theme today is PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness.

I had a look through my holiday albums and found my best selection of that colour from our trip to Lake Garda in Italy. We stayed in the beautiful town of Bardolino on the eastern side of the lake and as the sun set each evening, the sky turned a delicate shade of warm pink. I loved it so much I now use one of the photos as a header on my blog.

On one particular evening the traditional Bisse racing on the lake took place, beginning as the sun began to dip and ending in the black of night.

I hope the photographs below will give you a warm glow, though maybe the last one, taken bizarrely in the town square of Sirmione, may just make you smile. Simples!

Very uplifting and a darn sight better than the bleak greyness of the skies today!

    @Suzanne – So do I!

@Steve – It's sunny here at the moment. Head East!

@Expat Mum – Ah we all have our talents 😉

@Sarah – I didn't alter the photos either; it really was a gorgeous colour.

@Macy – You'd think so. I have no idea why they were there. No-one else apart from us seemed the least bit amused by them.

What incredibly beautiful pictures. It's somewhere I've never been to, Italy, but I think I'd like to go.

    CJ xx

@Libby – I still have no idea what they were doing there, in such a pretty town square.

@CJ – I don't think we've ever had a disappointing trip to Italy. Whether it's a city or the countryside, it's always been a joy. The people are so welcoming, especially to children, so it makes for a happy holiday x

Gorgeously pink photos – have been to Como but not to Garda but the meerkats look very welcoming!

I was looking at some stunning photos and a damned hacker appears to have put a picture of meerkats on your blog. Andy Warhol ones at that!

@curry queen- Thank you. More by luck than judgement!

@about last weekend – Did you like Lake Como? I bet it was beautiful too.

@kelloggsville – No idea how they got in. Sorry. Mind you, I renewed my car insurance with Compare the Market recently so am waiting for my very own cuddly meerkat to arrive!
