The Gallery – Where’s Mum Gone to?

Trish Burgess Posted on12/07/201007/04/2016 The gallery 24 Comments

For The Gallery this week the theme is “Can you see what it is yet?”. Tara has asked us all to photograph something at an odd angle or focus so that the object looks different. I was tempted to zoom in on household objects so that they looked rude but I’m sure others will have had similar thoughts: I’m hoping for a snigger as I go on my weekly wander round the Gallery’s many virtual rooms.

So rather than a priapic peppermill, I give you three landmarks from my travels to see if you can identify them. How terribly civilised!

Oh okay….something to make you smile then. Instead of “Where’s Wally?”, here’s a new game: “Whose Willy?”. Tell me who owns this little package. (Do you think there’s book potential in this?)

No idea on 1 and 2. Go for Eiffel Tower on three and "David" for the willy.Absolutely a book in this. If you said it was to raise money for prostate cancer, no one could refuse. Do I get to do Brad Pitt? And Tom Cruise? And the England rugby team? Individually? You can do the statues, Trish, cos you is cultured!

@Sally – so pleased you approve and you are happy to help out: such a helpful lady 😉

Not saying yet what they all are so that others can have a guess.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I know his name. It's David isn't it? Wonder what Florence would have to say about that pic… ; )

@the dotterel – you are obviously very intimate with our Dave. Flo gets used to him flashing his tackle about.

Hopeless at things like this as so not well travelled. I am the road less travelled.

Is the first one Barcelona? Went there on honeymoon.

No idea for 2nd – New York somewhere?

    Third – eiffel trifle.

The last one reminds me of when I was doing biology at school and the teacher said we had to draw a cross section of the male genitalia which we'd been revising for mock o levels (we'd already done the eye, the ear etc). She pointed to me and my friend and said 'I bet you two could do this from memory.'

@jfb57 – have twitted you with your result!

@Victoria – I had a look around the house to see if there was something I could blow the dust off and give away and then thought…nah, bugger the prizes! May well have a go at yours though, there being prizes an all!

I love these, can't say for sure what they are as I only really see the inside of hotels when I'm travelling darling. But that last picture does remind me of an ex-husband.

Great guesses ladies – answers on latest post (Barcelona, Berlin, Paris and David).

@Celebrity Mother – I can understand why he is an ex-husband. Such a shame.
