The Gallery – Back to School – Little boy, big boy

Trish Burgess Posted on08/09/201007/04/2016 The gallery 13 Comments

Here’s Rory starting in Reception class with his smart blazer and lunch bag. .

See below for his first day of Secondary school, in 2007, about to walk to the bus stop with his rucksack over his shoulders .  He’s now started Year 10 and beginning his GCSE studies. Funnily enough I didn’t think he’d be keen on me photographing him this morning! Where did the time go?

Does that mean you didn't take a photograph this morning? Hope not…

The Mad House – with his floppy hair at the moment, no-one can see his face anymore!

    The Dotterel – God, no!

Looks a bit like my boy in that second photo – sob! (It's my hormones. Perimenopausal, not pregnant.)

Can't take a picture of my biggest boy (only 9) for any amount of bribery. Well done for doing so well for so long!

Oh, I'm with Kelloggsville! Why do they grow so fast?! And mine are still little and I think it's too quick.

Oh where does the time go? I took a photo of my 4 but I couldn't post it because I couldn't see my year 10s face through his hair and my year 8's hair was making a break for the ceiling!

Thanks everyone – yes it's far too quick. I certainly wouldn't have got a smiley face if I'd photographed him today. Glad MSG and Christine have the same problems – reassuring!
