The Gallery – Portrait – My Boy.

Trish Burgess Posted on27/04/201007/04/2016 The gallery 30 Comments
This is my lovely boy. I adore this photo because he looks so happy, cuddled up in a big fluffy towel after his bath, showing his tiddly teeth. I love to see his dad’s hands either side of his head; so strong and protective.
He is now 14. I managed to snap this photo of him last summer when he had a nice short haircut. He has since grown it longer so I can’t see his face properly to get a decent photo!

So glad I have no daughters – your boy would be far too easy to get a crush on! It's terrifying I find to see hwo they grow from so little to so very, very, independent!

OMG – I'm sitting here stunned. He is SO like my sister's son (17) that it's uncanny. I will have to find a photo to show you. I'm going to send this to my sis right now.

Lovely pictures….my 15 year old runs a mile when I point the camera at him. He's going to go mad when/if he finds out I've posted the one picture I have of him this week. ;0)

Both lovely photos, but the first one particularly – I found myself smiling as I looked at it – always the sign of a great pic! x

Those are lovely. I love the way you can see the (nearly) man he is now in the little boy he was.

How lovely to see both pictures! I love his grin in the firs and that you can see it is still there waiting to peek out in the second!

I'm so delighted to read your comments. I normally ask my son permission to use his photos but forgot this time. He happened to see the scanned baby photo next to the computer and I was caught red-handed. Received a teenage scowl for my sins.
@expatmum – seems your nephew's parents can see the family resemblance between the two boys. Isn't that lovely!

Gosh, Trish…he was so like him if you know what I mean. Some babies just look blobbish or like any other baby ( not that one would ever say so to adoring parents), but this could only be Rory.Adorable.Gorgeous piccies.
