Here’s Rory starting in Reception class with his smart blazer and lunch bag. .
See below for his first day of Secondary school, in 2007, about to walk to the bus stop with his rucksack over his shoulders . He’s now started Year 10 and beginning his GCSE studies. Funnily enough I didn’t think he’d be keen on me photographing him this morning! Where did the time go?
This post is for the theme of ‘Back to School’ on The Gallery. Take a visit to see more entries.
I love the comparison, he is going to break a few hearts
Does that mean you didn't take a photograph this morning? Hope not…
The Mad House – with his floppy hair at the moment, no-one can see his face anymore!
The Dotterel – God, no!
Looks a bit like my boy in that second photo – sob! (It's my hormones. Perimenopausal, not pregnant.)
notwaving – tell me about it!!!
*SOB* will these children please stop growing up!!!! PS I bagsy him for my daughter – that boy is a looker!!!
Awww you should have forced him to have his photo taken lol..
Love the little knees in the first photo. Bless.
Can't take a picture of my biggest boy (only 9) for any amount of bribery. Well done for doing so well for so long!
Oh, I'm with Kelloggsville! Why do they grow so fast?! And mine are still little and I think it's too quick.
Oh where does the time go? I took a photo of my 4 but I couldn't post it because I couldn't see my year 10s face through his hair and my year 8's hair was making a break for the ceiling!
Thanks everyone – yes it's far too quick. I certainly wouldn't have got a smiley face if I'd photographed him today. Glad MSG and Christine have the same problems – reassuring!
He is going to break hearts!
