I’ve been looking at all the “favourite photo” memes over the last few days and, rather than keep sulking that I’m NFI, took a leaf out of Kelloggsville’s book and decided just to post my own anyway. Keeping it restricted to 2009 otherwise I’ll be here all afternoon and I still need to put the tea on.
Our summer holiday in Lake Garda provided me with plenty of choices but I finally plumped for a “taken from behind” position, always a favourite when one is not looking one’s best.
My favourite snow picture has to be one I took a few weeks ago: this has already been admired as being an ideal Christmas card for next year. What are the chances I’ll remember to do that come December?
The last one is just plain daft. These are the ladies’ loos in a restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon. Taking the Shakespeare theme a tad too far maybe, but they certainly amused me. Not sure the woman who came out of the cubicle straight after I’d flashed in her direction was quite so delighted.
I love your photos, even the one of the loos because I love Literature (and a lot of us do read whilst on the loo). But the one I love the most is the berries, that is absolutely beautiful and could be made into a Christmas card, I'd buy a pack for sure.
CJ xx
I keep coming back to this (great photos by the way especially the middle one)and what is NFI?
CJ – thank you: yup the berry photo was good, even though I say so myself!
VBH – Not F***ing Invited!!!
Lovely Lake Garda one – makes me want to teleport myself Rent-a-ghost style! x
LOL, oh patience my friend, it all comes around eventually. xx
I quite like the NFI though, I may well incorporate it into my everyday life, there is so much I am not invited to… *cue violins*
I've just been invited this very evening, and you would have been on my list, so there you are!
Love the Bard Loos!
VBH was right then, I should have been patient and waited for your proper invitation, Diney!
It's a Mummy's Life – how I wish I could teleport myself there right now and get away from this snow and ice!
Thanks VBH, I was going to ask the same question. I also had to google to find out what a meme was – still not quite clear!
Great pictures
x
Ellen – I had no idea what a meme was either: it seems to be a blogging game of tag (you do a post on a topic and tag a few others to do the same etc). But if you don't get tagged you get huffy like me and just do the post anyway, revealing how sad you are!
